Birth of a Legacy by Cornelius Tulloch

Congratulations to #miamiartist Cornelius Tulloch @corneliustulloch!

His photograph “Birth of a Legacy” is a winner in the #Your2020Portrait contest hosted by @brooklynmuseum and Instagram @design, curated by @sirsargent and judged by @quillemons, @chloewise_, and @chellaman.

He captures a moody scene, where his nephew, in a way, stands in for young Cornelius, at the home where he grew up being the youngest of his siblings, surrounded by his brothers' athletic accomplishments, while he had a novel interest for art.

@brooklynmuseum invited students around the U.S. to create portraits in any medium for an online art show. @corneliustulloch's photograph was one of the 5 works chosen out of 300 submissions.
